Successful Marketers Must Have
a Lead Capture Page System
In order to market a product, service or distributorship, it is
absolutely necessary to put a lead capture page system into place. This way, rather than purchasing
non-targeted leads, marketers can easily capture information from people who
are genuinely interested in what is being offered.
Purchasing vs. Generating
Leads
While it is possible to purchase leads by the hundreds, the
thousands, or even the hundreds of thousands, this is often a purchase that
does not provide much of a return. Unfortunately, though these leads come
complete with email addresses and sometimes even telephone numbers, they are
‘cold’ leads. This means that they have likely never expressed any interest in
what the marketer is offering. With a lead
capture page system built into an MLM website, however, the people who provide their information have already
expressed interest in what is being offered. It is then up to the marketer to
follow up with and convert these leads.
Getting Started
The first part of making any MLM
business successful is gathering information with a lead capture page system. Afterwards, the marketer must have a
strategy for his or her use of this information. In many cases, an autoresponder—or software that
automatically responds when a website visitor enters his or her
information—will send a pre-written email to that lead. This email may be
personalized with the lead’s name depending upon the template that is used, and
it should be complete with a catchy subject line; otherwise, there is no
guarantee that the lead will open it at all. The content within the email
should be short and to the point and it should always be free from grammar and
spelling errors.
What to Include
Part of a good lead capture
page system is ensuring that the content sent to leads will encourage them
to take action, whether this is to close a sale or entice them into an
affiliate distributorship. For this reason, the content should always be
extremely professionally written and filled with the benefits associated with
making a purchase or taking action. While all of the information should not be
included in this initial email in order to conserve space, it is important to
provide links to additional information in the event that the reader would like
to take immediate action. Other things distributors should include are their
contact information and testimonials from other distributors or buyers.
Closing the Deal
When the reader chooses to contact the distributor directly or
requests further information, this is the perfect opportunity to follow up with
a more personalized contact. The distributor most often chooses to send a
hand-written email to the lead in order to provide a direct link to more
information, but a telephone call can often sometimes suffice, particularly if
the lead has requested this type of contact. This is where the marketer’s own
sales skills will come into play; they will need overcome any objections and
continue to provide benefits and testimonials.
